Spa Etiquette

Our spa environment is one of relaxation and tranquility. Please respect all spa guests’ right to privacy and serenity. In light of this, the spa is a mobile phone, Blackberry, pager, camera and smoke free zone.

Health Conditions

Kindly advise us of any health conditions, allergies or injuries which could affect your choice of treatment when making your spa reservation.


We have specially-designed treatments for expectant women or nursing mothers. Please allow our spa team to guide you in selecting which treatments are most suitable during this special time.

Home Care

To continue your spa experience at home, most products used in our treatments are available at ESPA Life reception.


ESPA Life accepts no responsibility for loss of valuables and jewellery at any time on the spa premises.

Lost Property

All lost property found on the premises should be handed in at ESPA Life reception. Items will be stored for four months, if they are not collected within this time they will be donated to local charities. Liquids, under garments and hair brushes are kept for 24 hours only.

Spa Access

Full access to all spa areas including the BodySPace Gym is reserved for guests who have treatments that exceed 90 minutes or a Day Spa Experience. Access to the thermal floor and gym may be arranged with a Spa Experience Pass.

Guests who have reserved spa treatments for less than 90 minutes can enjoy the exclusive spa changing and heat experiences and will be escorted directly to the spa change and chill areas for collection before and after their treatment.

Children's Policy

We are delighted to offer manicure and pedicure services for children under 16 years old taken in the Nail Studio. Access to the rest of the spa including the spa changing, heat experiences, thermal floor and gym are restricted to over 16s.

The spa welcomes resident children (under 16 years) every day during children's swimming hours, in which they are permitted to use the swimming pool only.

Cancellation Policy

A 100% charge will be incurred for any treatment not cancelled at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled time. There is a 50% charge for rearranging inside of 24 hours. Late arrival will shorten your treatment time.


All prices are quoted in GBP and are subject to change at any time. Gratuities are not included and are welcomed at your discretion.
